I was very skeptical but this product worked much better than I could have ever expected, especially for the price.

Yan can do whole rooms with good results and is just great for those tough but quick carpet clean-ups between major carpet shampooings.

I purchased this vacuum in March 06 after reading two great reviews. I waited until now to write mine. Wanted to be sure I gave a honest review. I dislike this vacuum thoroughly. We are a family of nine. So I thought being commercial it would pull the load. It has 6 settings. On my carpet a setting of 4 is not enough to clean right and a setting of 3 it suctions into the carpet too tight. The handle from day one has to be jiggled left and right about 6 times to get it to come down. When I run it on the bare floor on any setting it sprays the rocks and dirt from behind and stings my feet. It is heavy but I can live with that but an elderly person could not. I gave it a one star rating because the long cord is nice. But I can not wait until I can get a new one.

I finally found this product at Vons. With the coupon the cost came to $12 including tax. I used it on three floor rugs. I have three dogs and one is a puppy who seems to think the rugs are his own personal pee pads. I have been using the Woolite carpet cleaner that comes with this product for a while to spot clean my carpet and rugs. The rug stick is much more convenient because it covers a larger area and I don't have to get on my hands and knees. I was concerned that it would be flimsy based on a prior review but I did not find that to be the case at all. It also removed a stain on one of the rugs that I hadn't been able to get out previous with a hand brush.

It was great until it broke after 3 weeks.
I bought this unit and used it to clean all the carpets in my home over a three week period. At the end of the three weeks it stopped sucking the water back up, I had been taking excellent care of it and had kept it clean. I brought it to the repair place and they fixed it but it never worked as well again. It just keeps breaking. It has to be turned on its side to get the shampoo to "wake up" and start coming out. It sometimes works but often times it does not. Its been back to the repair place repeatedly and now that the warranty expired its worthless. It actually would have been cheaper to have my carpets done professionally. I have a friend who brought a similar unit at costco and had the same trouble.

Great Machine
The machine itself works great but the shipping for it took forever. If you want Amazon to do it expect to wait a month then maybe you'll see that its ordered. I still haven't received it yet but my sister has one and it works great, not too loud like most of the vaccum cleaners. Before ordering remember that you'll be waiting
